In 1995, an aspiring synthpop producer, an old-school rapper and a darkwave freak with DJ ambitions crossed paths. In the middle of Northern Germany's rising techno and rave scene, Paraphonatic was born - somewhere between hardtrance and techno, always driving, melodic and inspired by the sound of the legendary Hanomag halls.

In their founding year, Paraphonatic released their debut: the anthem for the first Reincarnation Streetparade in Hannover. The vibe of that era - euphoric, colorful, uncompromising - became part of the Paraphonatic DNA and still shapes the sound today.
30 years later, after creative breaks, detours and rediscoveries, the original trio has been back together in Hannover's Klangwerk Studio since 2025. Their anniversary single "Alien Contact" connects the past, rave history and futuristic energy.
